CLEVELAND - No matter where Kevin Conwell goes, he is on a humanitarian mission. Some days, he teaches sign language. Other days, he calls around the city for toys for a giveaway. And, as coordinator of employment services for Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland Inc., he spends at least eight hours, five days a week trying to find jobs for physically and mentally disabled people. |

Men Who are Fathers" Take to the Community |

Councilman Kevin Conwell's recently reestablished "Men Who are Fathers" group has been taking their program to the streets and into the community. Men Who are Fathers is a free support group for fathers whose mission is to improve the lives of children by ensuring that they grow up with involved, responsible and committed fathers. |

When Kevin Conweli was a young man he often had an experience that, while it saddens him now, meant almost nothing at the time.
''Growing up in the Gienville community, 1 would visit my friends, and there was no dad there in the house," Conwell recalled, "We would ask, 'how's your mom?' but never 'how's your dad?'" |
